But the story soon loses its steam as we know for sure the sacrificial lamb. Murari is a typical Hum Aapke Hain Kaun kind of film with all the fun and laughter and the goodness among the people. It is good family movie with best cinematography and best performance by artists."[11]

Rajakumarudu, was the debut movie for Mahesh Babu as a hero, who, earlier acted as child artiste in many movies. As the name of the movie suggests, prior to the release of Rajakumarudu much hype was created in the hearts of telugu audience as people had earlier seen Mahesh as a child artiste and knew that Mahesh is capable of becoming a good actor. Superstar Krishna could have launched Mahesh under his own banner Padmalaya Productions. But keeping the expectations of audience in mind, he gave the oppurtunity to Vijayanthi Movies, a production company that had already set a special name for itself in Telugu Film Industry, hoping that Mahesh's stamina will be revealed if he gives a hit from outside banner. Ultimately, the movie turned out to be a hit by running for 100days in 42 centres. Thus, laid the strong foundation for Mahesh's forthcoming days to reach to the top postion. Let us not forget the contribution of Superstar Krishna's Fans. It is estimated that Krishna's fans all over the State spent around a whooping 3Crores of rupees for just banners, cut-outs, garlands, posters in front of the theatres where the movie was released. This kind of welcome was not recieved by any other hero in the Indian Film history. Not just the fans, the whole Tollywood Stars received the "Prince" in a warm manner. Also, Mahesh Babu got the Best Male Debutant Nandi Award for this movie. Special thanks to Aswini Dutt, Raghavendra Rao, Manisharma, co-stars and all other techinicians of the moive for giving the "Prince", a perfect launch to become the King.
